Turkey–United States relations

The Republic of Turkey and the United States of America shall cooperate in matters of defense and security, with a focus on combating terrorism and maintaining regional stability. This cooperation shall be facilitated through regular diplomatic channels and joint military exercises. The two countries shall also engage in intelligence sharing and joint operations to counter common threats. The terms of this cooperation shall be outlined in a separate agreement.

The United States shall provide economic aid to Turkey, subject to annual review and approval by the US Congress. This aid shall be used to support Turkey's economic development and promote bilateral trade relations. The two countries shall also cooperate in international organizations, such as the United Nations and NATO, to promote global security and stability. The terms of this cooperation shall be outlined in a separate agreement.

The Republic of Turkey and the United States of America shall resolve any disputes or disagreements arising from the interpretation or implementation of this agreement through diplomatic channels and negotiations. The two countries shall also establish a joint committee to oversee the implementation of this agreement and to address any issues that may arise. The terms of this dispute resolution mechanism shall be outlined in a separate agreement.
