Russia–Turkey relations

The Republic of Turkey and the Russian Federation shall maintain diplomatic relations based on mutual respect and cooperation. The two countries shall engage in regular consultations to promote understanding and resolve disputes. The Turkish government shall ensure that all interactions with Russian officials comply with international law and bilateral agreements.
