North Korea–South Korea relations

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea shall abide by the terms of the 1953 Armistice Agreement, which established a ceasefire and created the Demilitarized Zone. The agreement shall remain in effect until a formal peace treaty is signed, and both parties shall work towards reducing tensions and promoting peaceful relations. The DMZ shall be maintained as a buffer zone, and both sides shall refrain from hostile actions. The agreement shall be monitored by the United Nations Command.

The government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea shall not engage in any activities that could be considered a threat to the national security of the Republic of Korea, including the development and testing of nuclear weapons. The Republic of Korea shall also refrain from taking any actions that could be perceived as a provocation, including joint military exercises with the United States. Both sides shall work towards establishing a framework for dialogue and cooperation. The international community shall be informed of any developments in the relationship between the two countries.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea shall establish a joint committee to oversee the implementation of the armistice agreement and to facilitate dialogue and cooperation between the two countries. The committee shall meet regularly to discuss issues of mutual concern, including economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and humanitarian assistance. The committee shall also work towards resolving outstanding issues, including the reunification of families separated by the war. The committee's decisions shall be binding on both parties.

The government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea shall allow international organizations and non-governmental organizations to provide humanitarian assistance to its citizens, including food, medicine, and shelter. The Republic of Korea shall also provide humanitarian assistance to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, as needed. Both sides shall work towards improving the living standards of their citizens, particularly in areas affected by the war. The international community shall be informed of any humanitarian efforts.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea shall work towards establishing a permanent peace regime on the Korean Peninsula, including the signing of a formal peace treaty. The two countries shall also work towards the denuclearization of the peninsula, including the dismantling of North Korea's nuclear program. The international community shall be involved in the process, and the United Nations shall play a key role in verifying the implementation of any agreements. The peace regime shall be based on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation.
