Law of Due Obedience

The Law of Due Obedience was a former law in Argentina that allowed for the prosecution of military personnel for human rights abuses committed during the country's last military dictatorship (1976-1983). It was enacted in 1987 and aimed to hold those responsible accountable for their actions. The law was later repealed in 2003.
