Chile–United States relations

Chile and the United States have a long-standing bilateral relationship based on shared values, economic ties, and cooperation on regional and global issues. The two countries have a free trade agreement and collaborate on areas such as trade, security, and human rights. Their relationship has been strengthened by Chile's membership in various US-led regional organizations, including the Organization of American States.
