Chilean nationality law

Chilean nationality law grants citizenship to individuals born in Chile, as well as those born abroad to a Chilean parent or grandparent. It also allows for naturalization after a certain period of residency, typically 5 years, and requires applicants to demonstrate good character and knowledge of the country's laws and culture. Additionally, Chilean nationality law provides for dual citizenship, allowing individuals to hold citizenship of both Chile and another country.
