Brazil–Chile relations

Brazil and Chile have a strong and cooperative relationship, with both countries being key players in regional organizations such as the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR). They have a long-standing agreement on trade, investment, and border security, and cooperate on issues like energy, transportation, and environmental protection. Diplomatic relations between the two countries date back to 1825.
