Native Forest Law

The Native Forest Law in Chile aims to protect and conserve the country's native forests, particularly those of high conservation value, by establishing a system of protected areas and regulating logging and other human activities within these forests. The law also promotes sustainable forest management and the use of native species in reforestation efforts. It was enacted in 1970.
