Treaty of Ancón

The Treaty of Ancón is a peace treaty between Chile and Peru, signed on October 20, 1883, which officially ended the War of the Pacific. The treaty established the border between Chile and Peru, with Chile gaining control of the Peruvian provinces of Tarapacá, Arica, and Tacna.
