Iraq–Israel relations

Iraq and Israel have no formal diplomatic relations, with tensions stemming from the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and ongoing conflicts in the region. The two countries have clashed on several occasions, including the 1973 Yom Kippur War and the 2003 invasion of Iraq by the US-led coalition, which Israel supported. Economic and cultural exchanges between the two nations are limited due to these historical and ongoing tensions.
