Bat Ayin

The Bat Ayin law in Israel is a 2009 amendment to the penal code that allows for the imprisonment of Palestinians who throw stones or firebombs at Israeli targets, but does not impose similar penalties on Israeli settlers who engage in similar violent acts. This law has been criticized for its perceived bias against Palestinians. It aims to protect Israeli settlers in the Gush Etzion region.
