Ghana–United States relations

Ghana and the United States have a long-standing bilateral relationship based on shared values of democracy, human rights, and economic development. The two countries cooperate on issues such as trade, security, and health, with the US providing significant economic and technical assistance to Ghana. Ghana is also a key partner in US efforts to promote stability and development in West Africa.
