Ethiopia–United States relations

Ethiopia and the United States have a long-standing diplomatic relationship, with the two countries cooperating on issues such as counter-terrorism, economic development, and humanitarian aid. The relationship has been strengthened through various agreements and partnerships, including the 1951 US-Ethiopia Friendship Treaty. The two nations continue to engage in dialogue on regional and global issues.
