China–Ethiopia relations

China and Ethiopia have a strong diplomatic relationship, with China being one of Ethiopia's largest trading partners and a major investor in the country's infrastructure and economy. Ethiopia has also been a key player in China's Belt and Road Initiative, a massive global infrastructure development project. The two countries cooperate closely on international issues, including at the United Nations.
