Cvetković–Maček Agreement

The Cvetković-Maček Agreement was a 1935 political compromise in Croatia, part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, that temporarily resolved internal divisions by granting autonomy to Croatia and its people. This agreement was reached between Croatian leader Vladko Maček and Yugoslav Prime Minister Milan Cvetković. It aimed to address Croatian demands for greater self-governance within the Yugoslav state.
