Croatia–Germany relations

Croatia and Germany have a strong diplomatic relationship, with both countries being members of the European Union and NATO. The two nations cooperate closely on economic, cultural, and security issues, with a significant number of German companies operating in Croatia. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1992, following Croatia's independence from Yugoslavia.
