Norway–European Union relations

Norway has a unique relationship with the European Union, where it is not a member but has access to the EU's single market through the European Economic Area (EEA) agreement. This allows Norway to participate in the EU's internal market, but it does not have voting rights in EU decision-making processes. Norway also contributes to the EU budget and has to adopt many EU laws and regulations.
