Jamaica–United States relations

Jamaica and the United States have a long-standing bilateral relationship, with ties dating back to Jamaica's independence in 1962. The two countries cooperate on issues such as trade, security, and tourism, with the US being Jamaica's largest trading partner and a significant source of foreign investment. Jamaica also participates in various US-led regional and international organizations.
