Canada–Jamaica relations

Canada and Jamaica have a long-standing bilateral relationship based on shared values of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. The two countries cooperate on various areas such as trade, education, and culture, with Canada providing significant development assistance to Jamaica. Diplomatic relations between the two nations were established in 1962, following Jamaica's independence from the United Kingdom.
