Egypt–Kenya relations

Kenya and Egypt have a long-standing bilateral relationship, with cooperation in areas such as trade, security, and cultural exchange. The two countries have a strong historical connection, dating back to the ancient civilizations of Egypt and the Swahili Coast of Kenya. Diplomatic relations between the two nations have been maintained since Kenya's independence in 1963.
