Kazakhstan–Turkmenistan relations

Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have established diplomatic relations, with the two countries cooperating on regional and international issues, including trade, energy, and security. They are members of several regional organizations, such as the Eurasian Economic Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The countries also have a long-standing agreement on border demarcation.
