Egypt–Saudi Arabia relations

Egypt and Saudi Arabia have a long-standing strategic partnership based on shared Islamic and Arab values, with close cooperation in areas such as security, trade, and energy. The two countries have a strong alliance, with Saudi Arabia being one of Egypt's largest trading partners and a significant source of foreign investment. Egypt also hosts a large Saudi military presence in the Red Sea port city of Suez.
