Egypt–Turkey relations

Egypt and Turkey have a complex and often strained relationship, with periods of diplomatic tension and cooperation. The two countries have disagreements over regional issues, such as the Middle East peace process and the Muslim Brotherhood, which has led to strained relations. Egypt and Turkey have also had disputes over territorial waters and maritime boundaries in the Eastern Mediterranean.
