Egypt–South Sudan relations

Egypt and South Sudan have established diplomatic relations, with Egypt recognizing South Sudan's independence in 2011. The two countries cooperate on regional and international issues, including security and economic development. Egypt has provided humanitarian and development assistance to South Sudan.
