Egypt–Israel border

The Egypt-Israel border is an international border that separates Egypt from Israel, running for approximately 266 kilometers (165 miles) along the Sinai Peninsula. The border was established in 1949 following the Israeli-Egyptian Armistice Agreement, which ended the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It has been the subject of various disputes and conflicts over the years.
