Shafi'i

The Shafi'i school of Islamic jurisprudence is a legal tradition that originated in Egypt and is based on the teachings of Imam Al-Shafi'i, a prominent Islamic scholar. It emphasizes the use of reason and analogy in interpreting Islamic law, and its principles are widely followed in many Muslim-majority countries. The Shafi'i school is one of the four major schools of Islamic jurisprudence, along with Hanafi, Maliki, and Hanbali.
