Shafi'i

The Shafi'i school of Islamic jurisprudence is a legal tradition that originated in the 8th century and is named after its founder, Imam Shafi'i. It is one of the four major schools of thought in Sunni Islam and is widely practiced in various countries, including the Philippines. In the Philippines, the Shafi'i school is followed by the Bangsamoro people, particularly in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
