Heart of Borneo

The Heart of Borneo is a conservation agreement between Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei to protect a vast 220,000 square kilometer forested region on Borneo island. The agreement aims to preserve the region's biodiversity, including its rich ecosystem and indigenous communities. It was initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to safeguard the region's natural resources and promote sustainable development.
