Yogyakarta Principles

The Yogyakarta Principles are a set of guidelines that promote human rights for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, issued in 2006 and updated in 2017. They aim to protect individuals from discrimination and violence based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. The principles have gained international recognition but have limited official acceptance in Indonesia, where they were first established.
