The driving licence in Lebanon shall be issued by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in accordance with the provisions of this law. The applicant must be at least 18 years old to obtain a licence for motorcycles and 21 years old for cars. The licence shall be valid for a period of 10 years from the date of issue. The applicant must provide all required documents and pass the necessary tests to obtain the licence.

The driving licence shall be divided into different categories, including motorcycles, cars, and buses, each requiring a separate test and licence. The applicant must pass a written and practical driving test to qualify for each category of licence. The tests shall be conducted by authorized personnel and shall assess the applicant's knowledge and skills in driving. The applicant must also meet the required medical standards to obtain a licence.

The driving licence shall be renewed every 10 years, and the applicant must submit an application for renewal at least 30 days before the expiry date of the licence. The applicant must provide all required documents and pay the prescribed fees to renew the licence. The renewal of the licence shall be subject to the applicant meeting the required medical standards and passing any necessary tests. The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities shall have the authority to reject any application for renewal if the applicant does not meet the requirements.

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities shall have the authority to suspend or revoke a driving licence if the holder is found to have committed a serious traffic offence or if the holder is deemed to be medically unfit to drive. The suspension or revocation of the licence shall be subject to the provisions of this law and the regulations issued by the Ministry. The holder of the licence shall have the right to appeal any decision to suspend or revoke the licence. The appeal shall be made to the competent authorities within the prescribed time limit.

The driving licence shall be a valid document for the purpose of identification, and the holder shall be required to carry the licence with them at all times while driving. The licence shall contain the holder's personal details, photograph, and other relevant information. The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities shall have the authority to verify the authenticity of the licence and to take any necessary action against any person found to be using a fake or altered licence. The holder of the licence shall be responsible for reporting any loss or theft of the licence to the authorities.
