Germany–Tanzania relations

Germany and Tanzania have diplomatic relations, with the two countries cooperating on issues such as trade, development, and education. Tanzania is one of the main recipients of German development aid in Africa, with Germany providing financial and technical assistance to support the country's economic growth and poverty reduction efforts.
