Croatian nationality law

Croatian nationality law grants citizenship to individuals born to Croatian parents, those born in Croatia to foreign parents, and individuals who have lived in Croatia for a certain period and meet specific requirements. To obtain Croatian citizenship by naturalization, applicants must have resided in the country for at least 8 years, have a clean criminal record, and demonstrate proficiency in the Croatian language. Additionally, individuals who have rendered exceptional services to Croatia may also be eligible for citizenship.
