Afghanistan–India relations

Afghanistan and India have a long-standing bilateral relationship, with India providing significant economic and development assistance to Afghanistan, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare. The two countries have also cooperated on regional security issues, including counter-terrorism efforts. India has maintained a diplomatic mission in Afghanistan since 1950.
