National Assembly of Iraq

The National Assembly of Iraq was a transitional legislative body established in 2004 under the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) in Iraq, following the US-led invasion. It was composed of 275 members elected by the Iraqi people to represent their interests and draft a new constitution. The assembly played a crucial role in shaping Iraq's post-invasion government and institutions.
