Bangladeshi nationality law

Bangladeshi nationality law grants citizenship to individuals born in Bangladesh to parents with Bangladeshi citizenship, as well as those born abroad to Bangladeshi parents. The law also allows for naturalization of foreigners who have lived in Bangladesh for at least 5 years and meet certain residency and language requirements. Additionally, the law provides for dual citizenship, allowing Bangladeshi citizens to hold citizenship of another country.
