Malaysia–Vietnam relations

Malaysia and Vietnam established diplomatic relations in 1973, marking the beginning of a long-standing friendship between the two Southeast Asian countries. Since then, they have strengthened their ties through various economic, cultural, and educational exchanges. The two nations continue to cooperate on regional and international issues.
