Somalian nationality law

Somalia's nationality law grants citizenship to individuals born to a Somali parent, either by descent or through naturalization after meeting certain residency and background requirements. Somali citizenship can also be acquired through marriage to a Somali citizen, provided the marriage is registered with the relevant authorities. Additionally, Somalia offers citizenship to individuals who have rendered significant service to the country.
