Algeria–Israel relations

Algeria and Israel have no formal diplomatic relations, with Algeria being one of the few countries in the world that does not recognize Israel as a sovereign state. This stance is largely due to Algeria's support for the Palestinian cause and its opposition to Israel's policies in the Middle East. The two countries have no official embassies or consulates in each other's territories.
