Colombian nationality law

In Colombia, nationality is acquired by birth if one or both parents are Colombian citizens, or through naturalization after meeting residency and language requirements. Colombian nationality can also be granted to individuals who are married to a Colombian citizen or have a child with one. Additionally, certain individuals, such as refugees or stateless persons, may be eligible for Colombian nationality.
