Bahrain–Qatar relations

Bahrain and Qatar have a complex and often strained relationship, with tensions rising in 2017 over Qatar's alleged support for terrorism and its close ties with Iran. This led to a blockade by Bahrain and other Gulf countries, which was later lifted in 2021. The two countries have a long history of competing interests and disagreements.
