Tajikistan–Uzbekistan relations

Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have a complex and often tense relationship, with disputes over border demarcation, water rights, and security concerns. The two countries have made efforts to improve relations through economic cooperation and regional organizations. However, historical and cultural differences continue to influence their bilateral relations.
