Shafi'i

The Shafi'i school of Islamic jurisprudence is a major legal tradition in Singapore, originating from the 8th-century Islamic scholar Imam Shafi'i. It provides a framework for interpreting Islamic law, emphasizing the use of consensus, analogy, and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. The Shafi'i school is one of the four major schools of thought in Islamic jurisprudence.
