Japan–Saudi Arabia relations

Japan and Saudi Arabia have a long-standing bilateral relationship, with diplomatic ties established in 1955. The two countries cooperate on various economic, energy, and cultural fronts, with Saudi Arabia being one of Japan's largest oil suppliers. Japan also provides significant development assistance to Saudi Arabia in areas such as infrastructure and human resources.
