Kuwait–Saudi Arabia relations

Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have a long-standing bilateral relationship based on shared cultural and historical ties, as well as strategic cooperation in regional and international affairs. The two countries have a mutual defense agreement and cooperate on issues such as trade, energy, and security. Their relationship is also influenced by their shared membership in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
