Afghanistan–Pakistan border

The Afghanistan-Pakistan border, also known as the Durand Line, is a 2,430-kilometer-long international border that separates the territories of Afghanistan and Pakistan. It was established in 1893 by the Anglo-Afghan Treaty between the British Empire and Afghanistan, and has been a subject of dispute between the two countries ever since. The border has been the source of tensions and conflicts, particularly in the Pashtun-dominated regions of both countries.
