Bulgaria–Spain relations

Bulgaria and Spain have established diplomatic relations since the early 19th century, with the two countries maintaining a long-standing friendship and cooperation in various areas, including trade, culture, and education. The relationship has been strengthened through regular high-level visits and agreements on economic and scientific collaboration. Today, Bulgaria and Spain enjoy a strong partnership within the European Union and other international organizations.
