Bulgarian nationality law

Bulgarian nationality law grants Bulgarian citizenship to individuals born in Bulgaria to at least one Bulgarian parent, as well as to those who have lived in the country for a certain period and meet specific requirements. The law also allows for naturalization, which can be obtained after a minimum residency period of 5 years, and for individuals who have made significant contributions to Bulgaria. Additionally, Bulgarian citizenship can be acquired through descent from a Bulgarian parent or grandparent.
