Ecuador–Peru border

The Ecuador-Peru border is a 1,420-kilometer-long international boundary that separates the territories of Ecuador and Peru. It was established in 1942 after a border dispute was resolved through a treaty. The border runs through the Amazon rainforest and the Andes mountain range.
