Pedra Branca dispute

The Pedra Branca dispute was a maritime boundary dispute between Malaysia and Singapore over Pedra Branca Island, a small rocky outcrop in the South China Sea. The case was heard by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in 2003, with the ICJ ultimately ruling in favor of Singapore, determining that Pedra Branca Island, Middle Rocks, and South Ledge are part of Singapore's territory.
