Malaysia–Saudi Arabia relations

Malaysia and Saudi Arabia have a strong bilateral relationship, with ties dating back to the 1960s. The two countries cooperate in areas such as trade, education, and Islamic affairs, with Malaysia being one of the largest recipients of Saudi aid in Southeast Asia. The relationship is also strengthened by the presence of a significant number of Malaysian pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia for the Hajj and Umrah.
